The mystery, made clear
To me
Alone
The mind, mesmerized
A mess
Forgone
The malady, mindful
And yet
Reckless
The medium, mistaken
A wrong
Address
Smiling
Tending to the dream
From deep in the dark
Remembering the breath
Stolen away
Hoping much too hard
To bring you to life
Smiling nonetheless
For that’s what you loved
Escape: A Haiku
More often than not
This moment I’m to cherish
Is overwhelming
Saturday Change
Today,
Be they multicolored
Or left white,
I want to see them
Not silent.
I want to hear their frayed edges
Delicate
Tho’ woven-well together
And moving on the winds.
Left Field: A Haiku
Why am I stolen
Why have I called this thing love
Baseball season’s here
Another page torn
Another Perfect day passed
I remove my name
On Being: A Haiku
My stars, he loved me!
Yet only in his next life
Will he recollect
3am Alchemy
Polishing the tools
Under cover of the Moon
Sterilize the wound
With Kentucky’s finest Blue
Create a masterpiece
For their eyes and accolades
Feign lamentedness
At your left feet and failed grades
Fool’s Song
It reads as a song
The answers owed
Yet never forthcoming
The questions looming
That only the ghosts entertain
The life, the life, the life
Before, now, ahead, that must be to blame
All this you’ll never know
The cheapest of tricks
And someone is singing
Subject of Prayers: A Haiku
Steering Wheel
Gather your thoughts
Make your coffee
Feed your cat
Wash your dishes
Lasso your longing
Claim your mapdot
Remember your place
Learn your lesson
