Two smiles walking
Glowing from the years
Side by side and certain
The Universe was honest
Wordsmith: A Haiku
I cannot escape
From a solitary word
Not made gold by you
Collision
Crackers
Something about these sheets.
Grey. Linen
Fallen to the floor at my feet.
Ink all over them.
Telling stories yet to be spoken.
Out loud.
Involuntary
The Way: A Haiku
Alley Cat
There must be an escape in back
And the whole thing must be liquid black
Perched upon high
And full moon in the sky
He’ll sing things he cannot take back
No Place
This isn’t just any journey, is it
Where a global position or place
Will help us know we’re home
Hand now a part of the heart to the empty space
Where we’d only been ebbing around the edge
Turn and flow fully into this day each day
Tell if that doesn’t feel like home
The word of a friend
Haiku Sigh
Completion
All I remember
I flicked my bangs
Half on purpose
You looked at me
Differently
Within the second
We were in our arms
What you wanted to say
I forced from your mouth
You forgave me
Beautifully
The next seconds stood still
My eyes must’ve spilled smiles
Oh for sure
They spilled smiles
Unfinished we spit out our gum
