I asked for you today
That Light you choose to walk in
be Created, not a reflection.
That joy you give so freely
be placed steadily in your hands, not unanswered.
Even: In The Dark
Mind unrestrained, pulse fleeting, balance -not a priority.
Sit quietly.
Wrap around.
Hold.
Breathe.
Feel.
Mind content, pulse secured, balanced.
Re-Engage
God created the rain
and allows all it brings.
We see it as we see it.
Sorrow and Regret.
Cleansing and Nourishing.
Drown in it for a period,
then become Renewed.
Soccer Mom
Cracker crumbs.
Ice cream drips.
Candy spills.
In the back of the car.
And sticky fingerprints
from honey donuts
all over the windows.
Persons
Humble Healer
Life-giving Leader
Powerful Protector
Fear-less Friend
Simple Servant
Dear Defender
Kind Kindred
A Horse
I fell and took you down.
And crushed a spirit in filthy ground.
In grace you grabbed my hand again,
and proved yourself prince among men.
Through Fire
I will not fail
To be
Pure
If I am not
Pure
I will fail
To be

Four Letter Words
Life I need.
Life I love.
Life I want what you’re made of.
Life I love your mystery.
I steal your eyes so I can see.
Life I need to feel you There
-glasses removed and messed up hair.
Life I love.
Life I need.
Life I want to feel us bleed.
none other
It’s There!
Sun-filled rooms that smell of citrus and lavender,
bordered by walls unable to contain love’s energy.
Calm ceilings, safe floors.
Windows and doors through which truth freely flows.
And champions’ harmonized songs of peace ordained,
spill everywhere. Cheers!
