At War: A Haiku
All such beautiful
Such swirling and billowing
Energy in you
Higher Self
Ask about my windows, World!
Inquire of my peace
Be vulnerable and take my hand
Let “what if” worries cease
If this seems manic to your mind
Then see me with your soul
I’ll take you to dimension five
Your ego slave to Whole
Neverworld
Amidst painted on smiles, I see
The practiced resolve to accept
What could’ve been
Repetition, day-in….
I pretend each has it in them
To convert all the pretty words
To tell the virtual, goodbye
And meet me at midnight
Vibing
I commit to no shadows
Self-imposing today’s low light
The only contrast I’ll allow, the soft snow falling’s concession to percolating coffee
This quieted timbre carries me
And I, it
Throughout these next daylight hours, should I spend them inclined to chase light and false-bravado song
I am grey-orchid today and candles tonight
Silent, but vibing
Drawn: A Haiku
What magic man makes
Much of this tender heart-light
Touch the edge of me
Elevated
Not taking no for an answer, She
Dressed up sexy for the crimes of He
Master-mechanic motivating, She
A fine-tuned engine emerges, He
Speaking in the same tongue, You & Me
Ascend from sorrow’s basement, We
Orchid
Which questions to answer
Which ones to watch answer themselves
Whether to rush to pursue
Whether to just let truth bloom
I am certain, though
I am manifesting, now

Of Arc
Expletives why
In ode, you broken thing
Like a Lego on my footpath
In the midnight of my life
You the sword of Damocles
To my unsubmissive heart
Did you plan to steal my shoes!
Had you thought I’d have no clothes?
Away, most ruinous
I’ve long kept you at bay
An eagerness
