What’s a secret skill or ability you have or wish you had?

We all have secret skills — for some of us, they’re born of adversity. I secretly grab and even steal moments of time, call them out, and showcase them, that no one forgets how important those moments were.

No such thing, I say,
A sunset
A half-heart
A wrong place
A right time
These are mere constructs of mankind

Somewhere, there’s with us,
A new day
A dream afire
A precision
A god-wink
All omnipresent…don’t you think?

I remember Chicago

Who told me the pitch of my forehead to the plane of my feet was quite perfect

I, out of all the millions

You told me, was steel more strong than the skyscrapers I surrounded myself with

I believed and became

For I trusted you, and still do -you’d seen it all, and overcame, too
