Anemone
Be it flowers surrounding
Or the Winter’s death knell
When lush heathers and purples
Fade to sienna sand
May it be with clarity
Or with toment I cry
I want it
I want it all
So What Justice
Fair Weather, Friend
Oh!
I shall exhale
Pray for pouring rain as my forum
For there I will make such weeping
And I won’t want them to see
Yes!
There’ll be no taste of salt
But mere ozone and clarity
Fresh, cold clarity
And latitude
Cleansed: A Haiku
Since you linger here
I will write you far away
Each and every day
Steering Wheel
Gather your thoughts
Make your coffee
Feed your cat
Wash your dishes
Lasso your longing
Claim your mapdot
Remember your place
Learn your lesson
Clarity
It’s each day, isn’t it?
We dig deep into the recesses
Pull out the silken fabric
Clean their soil from our sunglasses
Then smile that we remember
The true truth
Almost Missed
Decree there be
That time for low light
For quiet contemplation
For the easy adjustment of eyes
And clarity, clarity
Abour the ever-evolving
Distraction from the dance
Sheer
Yes and I did not sleep warm last night
While each sentence you speak thinks now it holds leverage with my sleepy senses
In fact it holds none
My muddled thoughts aren’t muddled at all
They are determined
To not be
Taken
Advantage
Of
So I can clearly tell this
I love who I see
A weakness of mine I’d not trade as a weaker one would
Though I marvel at the back
And forth
I don’t tire
It is why you still stand
Call It
Always then fall
Times you cannot will to stand
Quiet yourself, take a bow, take a knee
Until when tomorrow
Finds your chin straight
Your will intact
With the path lying crisply ahead
Sugar, speak
