Dream Dreamer
Cascading stars
Not falling stars
Nor momentary shooting stars
Night fireflies
Not fly-by-nights
Nor echoes in the dead of night
Not half-attempts at anything
Nor abstract things
Just real things

Artist Credit: Tiger R.; at various ages
Anti: A Haiku
They enter your dreams
Force your face to the mirror
Then steal all your hope
The Slumberless Way
He almost asked me out I know
But the law got in the way
I gave him my sky, I preyed him, go
Tell what the stars have to say
Each night I’ve dreams I wish to share
But time’s gotten in the way
It’s midnight, and no one wants to care
A woman’s prophesied play
I’m watching out for his soft heart
But my ache, it wants its way
It’s likely I’ll only know such art
From afar, my eyes kept at bay
Somnia: A Haiku
The Unknowing
The green
May I rip it away at the roots
The red
A chisel and pickax to you
The shine that is tinsel
Oblivion forever more
Winter in May
The shadows of somebody
Who must have cast them
And the spell I am under
Are all, I see
Doomed to dance and die
As my did my flowers
From Winter in May
I Want
The seams of you
May those burlap threads burst
Spilling the uncontainable, genuine joy
The gleam of you
May those eyes forever hold ease
Radiating the wonder within
The dreams of you
May those hopes find their home
Visting the soul steadfastly
when i wake
Some One
in the Kitchen
boiling Water
Beside me
with a Light on
with a warm Voice
with a Penchant
for Chai tea
wanting Details
frOm my dreaming
so to Use them
Against me
Your dreams — I scared you
