Ol’

If the salary was the same, what job would you be doing right now and why?

It took me a less than a split second to answer this question. Regardless of whether the salary was the same, I’d go back 40 years and become a member of our U.S. Air Force, rather than have allowed myself to be talked out of it. The reasons are for God and Country.

I see you
Shrouded, but standing
Never for naught,
Reminding me
All I was taught to do
Admonishing
There is still more that is true

I pray for you
Storied…strong, be
Herald in healing,
I ask for thee
Glory, revealing the fight!
Unfolding
Until all know The Light

Comfort and Time

Comfort and Time

Let us live barefoot
Neglecting not our skin and faith ‘gainst vintage hardwood paths

Morning to morning
Dutiful with the truth of time yet careless of its grip

Feeling our steps’ worth
Determined to flee concrete trails that fail and lead awry

Water and earth shift
Considering doubt, yet days are short — Heav’n asks that we walk

Original Thought Credit: “Look closely, then, how you walk…making the most of time….” — Ephesians 5:15
