I Fell Deaf: A Haiku

Jewels drip-dropped down
at the sight, the tenor rasp,
singing so sacred.

Rubies and white pearls
fell hard -the Earth must have quaked,
and heartstrings strummed soft.

Earth, she’s bewildered
at the desire she contains
for her and The Moon.

Rubies, pearls, Earth, Moon,
bow a moment to give pause
before spinning off….
