I love him, how he
knows all the answers I want
but gives those I need.

A double-edged truth
Dreaming promotes vertigo
Dreaming promotes life

I proclaim today
A triumphant day, in fact,
A Red Letter Day

Imagine green eyes
Imagine all things silly
Imagine my meow

I ask, my good Friend
Grab this glitter and my hand
Pull me back from this

I do know I hear
The drumbeat of our souls’ soles
And I smell sulphur

Will you walk with me
With a deliberate pace
Can we not shuffle

Come, let us inspect
The condition of our walk
The roll of our cuffs

Our magnificent
Story to end all stories
Holy it still is

Who’ll dare indulge me
I’ve big eyes and such questions
I ask with intent
