You’re Awake out there,
up there, are you not? And you
called me on The Light.

Traveling I learned
We’re a genre all our own
A power-full read

The Sun speaks to me
In a diff’rent dialect
Challenging heart’s ears

Billowing circles
All around for us to find
Life comes full circle

The Year of Ashes
I remember there was fire
Nothing’s the same since

In aching places
Would that we find peace as deep
And a smile as wide

Those names that we choose
When we speak out to ourselves
Ought leap from God’s lips

We’ve made promises

Opportunities await

You’ve truth I must hear

I let close my eyes
I think of a rabbit farm
You make it come true
