Finest of bridges
Span the space from HOPE to joy
Intrigue, LOVE, then home

This Haiku: A Curious Blend

Too full of wonder
Do you marvel at this mix
Of dirt and your breath

My heart is buoyed
By Little Puddles and the
Oceans they drink of

Creation calls out
Guide our fleet feet; shelter us
Help us heal and hope

My eyes to the West
Beloved Lake cools my back
Mountains call me Home

He has touched and will
When another soul dared not
He will lift your chin

I know that in time

I will walk in like the boss

And write on the walls

To honor our wings

And The One who gives us breath

Befriend this moment

Put me in my place.
Please do try me. Then convict.
Do test my lukewarmth.

If you’ll muster kind
Even on a dark, dark day
We’ll light up the sky
