Then I’ll wear dresses
Chase The sun around the world
Learn Spanish guitar

Share saffron stories
Dance along with Northern Lights
Sail Eastern rivers

This Haiku: Still Life In Ink

You sketch out my days
And name me “Consecrated”
Draw me nearer then

There’s nothing so-so
About the dazzle that’s there
So hot that it’s cool

Painted with purpose
Sculpted stunning in His eyes
And formed not to fear

Lest God speak my name
Before He summons your soul
I’ll not leave your side

I’ll have that soft blush
The pink smile beneath the black
On my left that day

For a soft spirit
I will search the world over
I’ll start with inside

Here’s one shining truth:
You love one million percent
You’ve done it all right

This another day
Of wandering, wondering
Knowing I can’t know

I’m learning to walk
like you -but only like me,
with your gentle strut.
