Chase those sunrises
And the drama of the days
Will pale when compared

Walk the fine balance
That’s between sharing your soul
And reserving it

See it everywhere
Kids looking up in mom’s eyes
Longing for dad too

This amazing dance
Analyzed time and again
Thank goodness for sleep

Why’s validation
Sought from other sources when
He’s our biggest fan

Some kinds of teachings
Convict of eternal truths
Teachers sure can rock
