The steps of your Days, designed?
The Epic, real?

Likely Planets: A Haiku

At times, I’m frightened
Stargazing above, alone
Wishing you were here

I faint remember
My excited Friday nights
Or a good man’s name

I don’t discount them
Those Days were important days
When I hoped with Hope

Nevermind my love
For, what is the greater good
My purpose or Yours

These three years too long
I’ve not sought to at last see
Beyond metaphors

My eyes should they doubt
My heart be the compass mark
My will be the plow

Mere fumes as their fuel
Never, however, my soul
I wonder not, why
