You're tolerating
Your mere mortality, your
Immorality

My Own Friend
Since I’ve created
A virtual haven here
I’ll uncreate it
Henceforth, you’re banished
Though I love you, I love you,
I’ll be my own friend
Mister Fire
“You’re not putting me
on some timetable devised
by you, lover boy.”
Every Knee
You came to my heart
As a pinpoint white light
You said “You’re Welcome.”
Scarboard
She isn’t finished
Meanwhile, I’ll celebrate her
She always wows them
She has a story
A true tale of scars and love
She is of the deep
Even Before
The why of the pain
Compared to what good may come
Is less relevant
A Haiku
Did Earth summon you
Or did you burst from the heav’ns
To teach us true grit
Step Right Up
What shine to put on
What tophat, what dazzling show
That I’m not a ghost
Whimperless
A resounding No
Punctuating the silence
You made not a sound
Blue Ridge Calling
Banjo, stay away
Back sweet, toney resonance!
Banjo, come closer
