Inner-being
Eyes that see
Seeing as I am seeing less and less of That lately
A heart not beating for the sole purpose of breaking a heart
Since, refusing to settle,
Dancing
Character, and A character
About whom I’ll pen an epic true-story novel
A Love who’ll not put This Love on a shelf
Nor ever leave it
Unread
Disarm: A Haiku
These rectangle rooms
Tangled rooms here in my heart
My heart feels alarmed
Keep Finding
Reasons everywhere
To pick up and restore
Again and again
What is broken, but beautiful
Discarded, but eternally in-demand
Whether yours, theirs, ours
This banner, heralded

nanoparticle thoughts

Curtains
Unravelings rambled undetected amongst the two us
Made their way to a place in our hearts that our brains didn’t know to protest
You, now gone, as a breeze
I, here, in the still
Grasping devotion I do set free
Blameless, we
For the loving words we uttered
For the promises we made
Unaware of translucent thorns wafting betwixt our souls
Unilateral
If you haven’t lost the love of your life
In the late Summertime
As a jewel-toned magic carpet pulled
From ‘neath your soaring heart
As your jump rope stolen
Whilst you sang from the deep
Then you cannot have been my best friend
In this, our late lifetime
My heart-rending notes
Where is that storm I summoned
Silence
