The proof I gave up

Or proof that I still had hands

Shaking, but yet strong?

East Side: A Haiku

I want you Hemi
Coming straight to me livin’
On fumes and on hope

Through wet, wide, green eyes,
I see you. You checkered flag
– daring me to race.
