Did You Know….
The precise flush of your skin
at any given moment
has a world of significance
and maybe a direct relationship
with the brilliance of light in your eyes
but zero connection
to your always-illuminated soul?
Our Earth
As we consider the Day
This in earnest we say
We wish to go out from the fray
For we know You Are Home
But would it be okay
if we dance for more days
and more with creatures play
and, too, take the long way home?

A candle to see.

Oh God thank you, that in your love and wisdom, you knit together the Miracle that is the human frame.
You formed the bones and skin and muscles, sinew and nerves in such a way that They need each other.
May These limbs hold fast to all that is dear. Let the right arm take hold of the left arm and form the bridge of Faith between the Two.

Behaves nice and not.
And serves me breakfast in bed.

Since we must seek it,
in response, it travels far
-Light. To still our minds.
Re-Engage
God created the rain
and allows all it brings.
We see it as we see it.
Sorrow and Regret.
Cleansing and Nourishing.
Drown in it for a period,
then become Renewed.
The Secret Perfection of Rainbows
Recall that Light mixed with it
Light of clear voice that leaves us with no doubt
Light that filters through the grey and sets us on a course and rocks the very souls
Light that does kiss back tears and keeps us in True North
Light that resonates a promise
Wisdom Is Everything
Wisdom is not grey, it is not abstract, it is not a metaphor.
It is human, flesh and blood and kind and good.
It is my favorite color. I am lucky it befriended me and I will never not love it.
