This primal laughter
This quiet cry
Comes
From the peaceful place
That knows you know me
Whether you know it
Is my mystery

Life’s brought me laughter

And tho’ I’ve learned through life’s pain

Life owes me kisses

I proclaim today
A triumphant day, in fact,
A Red Letter Day

Around each corner

Waits a ghost, tall and silly

I scream then we laugh

Tickle my foot
As it hangs off the edge
Of this new day before me
