Start at the center.
Follow through to the outside.
Love it. Love it all.

You didn’t mind and I didn’t matter
I’d be your sounding board in exchange
For stolen glances at God’s handiwork
How you cared to steward His chiselings
I studied in the moment of the dream
All
The whole time, damned to awaken
But I, glad for the dream
Said I love you
Sang a song
And at once
Arose
Map Dot
I live
On a little vintage street
In a little sunny home
With a little strapping kid
Where the biggest courage looms
For the biggest of ideals
At the biggest point in time
I live
Nuclear Me
World in my hands
Flowers from my lips
Perfection for my footsteps
Strength on my wings
Hope-laden heart
Nuclear mind
Force to be reckoned
Isn’t this the truth
Under the Bridge: A Haiku
None blood between us
I dreamed last night my brother
Showed me tenderness
Shorebound
So I skipped school
Forsook homework for heartstrings
Hope and brawn would carry us through
I knew
In demoting me
Had you a point to prove
Was I your protégé
Gone astray
Legacy
All the truths
We wish would leave
The lack of regard
Despite all the reasons
We gave them to care
Let us walk forth
Shall we walk forth
And let legacy
And abandonment
Have its way with us
legato
We will see those leaves
Dance and shimmer again
Playful and meaning business alike
Wistfully, we’ll watch them bud then bloom
And be reminded
We are promised the seasons
The Oboe said so
Exhibit XX
I at 49
Less some days
Flesh and blood
Heart, mind and soul
Convicted
Of God
Stand
As proof
I
Was wrong
ad infinitum
From my own right
From your realities and truths
From the abounding, abiding demons
God protects me
