Find me when I’m ninety
Barefoot and expectant still
This life we knitted
Will bear kindness
Look at me -kindness!
All in
All-out
Or else

know not
Me
You have anchored me
Tho’ I know not
Do I
Sit at the bottom of the ocean
Or is
The mountaintop my resting place
Flaw
Did you ever believe
With all your heart
If you gave your heart
And all the walked-out words
Under the Sun
And indeed, gave even the Sun
If you gave that
If you gave a damn
Ten damns
A thousand damns
That you could journey
To their heart
And change their words
Their spat-out words
That broke the all of your heart
You gave
Did you ever believe that
Ten Atmospheres
Fast and loose
Close to the heart
Mysterious
Leads with her chin
Deep
Ten atmospheres
The funny man
Stoic I am
Competitive
Why
Irreverent
Yes but no
Cool as can be
Desperately so
Perseverant
Grow old with me
Somewhere Alone
There in the square
Guide my mind
Tell
The rapid that came
How quickly it left
How it took all from your bones
With dark in your eyes
Stop my heart
Tell
Me alone
The Hollow you felt
The Spike of what heightened your cry
Your voice now evened
Quench my thirst
Tell
What fell
And its path
And all the else too, you let fall
precipice
Listen
To learn
Avoiding the urge
To run
Dwell there
To rise
Where once you struggled
To walk
Listen
To learn
Or else be pulled back
To pain
The Unknowing
The green
May I rip it away at the roots
The red
A chisel and pickax to you
The shine that is tinsel
Oblivion forever more
ubiquitous
With water
With ease
I rinse away
As watercolor hue
From the page
Of your life
With yesterday’s news
With a half-hearted toss
Out I go
In the snow
What a waste
Of a tree
Oh My Violin
Do you know the notes
The particular ones
That linger and twist
Lengthening the horizon
While wafting somewhere
But promise never awayTouch them
Try
at the bottom of breath
I thought it was not glass shards
And salt to follow
I thought there was whimsy
And my maturity to gain
I thought I was white flame
And you titanium
I thought I was poetry
And you the poet
I thought I knew
And I knew
