I like whispering
I like the morning
And it’s cold
And we’re cold
When it’s early and none ear can hear
When the grey doesn’t matter anyway

Thank You.
Never to be
The chance for a lifetime
Of telling
The mystery
Of you
To
You
So I will talk to the sea
It will understand
You know
Hung Up
You in this death never said
Goodbye
You in this life never said
Hello
Rooftops
What is there to say to the silhouette
Eyes and heart now stolen
Haunt me more
Keep me again from sleep
Let the light take its leave from your shoulders
No it cannot be
I drown in words
Though speech has escaped me
Shallow Breaths
I think I am certain I know
Rejection so painfully slow
Tho’ kindness would warrant godspeed
Fate feels that more torture I need
Thanking Her Senses
The furnace having done its job
Basks now, contentedly
The boy asleep at daybreak’s glow
Breathes rhythmic, calming me
The feline drowned in blanket rolls
Purrs more, despite her cool
The dawn as pleased as she can be
Sits smiling, rosy fool
Professor
Actual version of who I once knew
Free of the virtual grey
I’ll be the color-filled breath of true life
Looking for only you
Thanked
Do you smile satisfied
Having ruined a ravaged heart
Do you laugh with the light
While my hope drips from your hands
And at evening’s flat end
Do your windows weep of me
Wouldn’t Wish
No
From the lungs
To the ether
To Kingdom come
Can you know what that is
May it be you can not
Cymbals & Sines
Something ceremonial
Should there be
Some semblance
Of solidarity
Twofold testimony
To these times
If entrusting
These lives
