I hope too
I doI hope He
Whispers with stardust
My name
Into your heartAnd it swirls and won’t settle
And it stirs your feet
Until you are foundIn the calm wind
Of your name
That He whispered
Into my heart

As I rocked him
All we want
for the ones we love
is for the rock that knocks
them from their tree
to be Ordained
and fit perfectly
in their palm
as they climb their way back up.
May it be just so
for any and all
who hear our prayer.
This Haiku: At Least I Do
Creation calls out
Guide our fleet feet; shelter us
Help us heal and hope

His Day Job
shame has one bridge from There to my conscience.
Along its journey, stops at God’s House, creeps into His closet and cracks open His coffers.
Now cloaked in stolen righteousness and with plenty to pay the fare, smiles and slithers down the familiar path.
Suddenly stops. Boom. Bang.

Our Earth
As we consider the Day
This in earnest we say
We wish to go out from the fray
For we know You Are Home
But would it be okay
if we dance for more days
and more with creatures play
and, too, take the long way home?
