My kiss
Shall be
My plea
Oh be good to me
My hands
In your hair
My promise
To protect you always

This Haiku: I Trust Me
Ozone
While wishing wishes
And chasing sleep
On hikes to ridges
With oaths we keep
The first promise dance
And Aft’ Party
With sand surrounding
On thrills at sea
Rememb’ring shared breaths
While leaking tears
Just offer your hand
All through the years
Now I Lay It Down
As you contemplate forever
Be forewarned, I am the one
Who’ll be the red upon your skin
To your defiance of the Sun
And lest you think I want your calm
On-ly Cra-zy Will-do
For I wish to fill eternity
with Whys and Ohs and You’s
(with silly, spontaneous smile :)
I love our place.
I honor our Race.
I examine the mud and blood of my path.
What say you
-spirited children?
-neighbors in need?
-hungry strangers?
-weary warrior in the mirror?
I see springboard seeds of loving kindness.
I promise no further discount of me.
