On Holiday: A Haiku
We have Saturdays
So although it’s not yet June
We have sweet, ripe time
Book Giver
May you have magic
This happiest Saturday
You never gave up
Saturday Change
Today,
Be they multicolored
Or left white,
I want to see them
Not silent.
I want to hear their frayed edges
Delicate
Tho’ woven-well together
And moving on the winds.
Cliché Saturdays: A Haiku
My Summer meetings
But for Cliché Saturdays
Have meant ev’rything
Queen & King
They
Proclaim good and light
They
Shapeshift in circles
They
Want
They
Love them so
They
Do don’t they
They
Make no account
but one
Everything was white
And there were almost too many flowers
The distance from there to there finally closed
It was daylight
Not that anyone would remember
And for once, nobody looked away
