Nothingness to see
An ache
Rising to despair
A graduate of searing numbness
Linger here and hear
Some final sigh into the night
Whose agony
Stars cannot pierce
All this to taste
A certain fate
When if you do
Give up your Hope
Nothingness to see
An ache
Rising to despair
A graduate of searing numbness
Linger here and hear
Some final sigh into the night
Whose agony
Stars cannot pierce
All this to taste
A certain fate
When if you do
Give up your Hope
My name giggled
Through out-of-breath genuine glee
Commanding that I cease
And then continue again
While watering, sparkling, half-open eyes
Reflect back that we’ve gone homeMy name spoken
Through no-longer-resisting resignation
Smiling as we sigh
Deciding whether we’re done
While fingers feeling eager to begin again
Take it upon themselves to tangle
So when I sign my sigh to the end of a day
It is the way
I poetically bless
The question
To which I answered
Yes
