Always East
Who now is thirsty for tomorrow?
I am! I am!
While my immersion in the moment allowed the universe to gift me with one Delighted poet
Happy for him whilst pushing through my pain
I am in love with now’s sorrow
Shall I claim it again?
I am thirsty for tomorrow!
Her Elijah
Who am I if I
Cannot command the clouds
In this
Her hour of need, and summon from them
A hopeful down pouring
A covenant flood
While she, full of sorrow
Knows, at present, only drought?
Green Skies
The things we learn to love
Born of sorrow, sometimes
Longing, for what has gone away, never to return
Decide, I decided
Let go, as the Sage said
Learn to love anew
Serpent on My Shoulder
Horizon
Grieve, good man
There is no shame
Scream if you must, or sing
I’ll hold your space from afar, when you need to step away from this spinning place
I’ll be your friend when time feels like your enemyMourn, my sister
As has been prescribed
Cry, though with clear, bright eyes
I’ll hold your heart, when it feels much too heavy for your wondrous frame to bear
I’ll speak the name of the sorrow the world denies you know
Fret
I ache to feel my heart break
Again and over again
If you, sorrow cannot come
Of your volition
Fret none
I find what I pursue
‘Tis true
