I’m imagining
You taste like fresh-cut green grass
With Sugar swirled in

Your humor is fierce
You come in like a lion
June will tame you. Down.

I failed to answer
When I was quizzed about you
In a recent dream

If asked now, I’d cry:
“You’re posing the wrong question.
He’s always showed up.”
