Adrenaline push
Blood takes its leave and the heart
Daydreams of the West

The Faith of Eight

Who forever
Struts up to dawn’s height
Stares forth with arrogance
Daring dark to linger

Always next awe-spun
Despite there was no doubt
Dark destined to fall prey
Devoured by The Light

Pry me away please
Lest I blind you right here. Now.
And solar winds muss

Chase those sunrises
And the drama of the days
Will pale when compared

Looked up from my screen
Out the window at the scene
Early morning awe
