This Great Lake is one great friend.

Many know her healing call, some are blessed to call her home.

With reverence, she quickly winks “good morning” to her friends, the oceans and to her family, the mountains.

She issues daily invitations to walkers to join her for a daybreak tea, a mid-day lunch and a moonrise meditation.

Majestic she is, and life-giving she’ll be to all who care for her and her friends:
-the Rivers, streams and creeks;
-the shallow, golden beaches;
-the rocky bluffs’ soaring birds;
-the tree-lined paths where deer do wander;
-the creatures that drink of her;
-the cities of creative opportunity and the small towns of contentment.

Her voice shall not drown out the heart’s longing for other wonders, for she chooses to sing harmony in the song called “gathering waters.”
