The windows open.
All night. The moon stakes its claim.
Not a sound. Not one.

boundless: A Haiku

There’s a wilder love
Than one could dream possible
With a feral soul

Exhausted, this path
Deliberate and unknown,
Found us reaching out

Insisting on Sun
Through the thick collage of clouds
Our hearts now alight

Wind at my window
Awakening the wide wild
In me Mom tell him

Why does the window

Where from Earth I watch its Star

Seem only ajar

A respite, a dare
A great challenge, a strong chair
A breath of fresh air

It must have magic
It’s said we’d die in its name
Strangers and brothers

Alone I’m alive
And at once I take your hand
I become afire

I’m eternally
On this side of that heaven
My heart knows the hymn
