Always obsessed with sun rises
-and recently wanting to look directly into the sun’s eyes-
I decided today that if I’m never blessed to come face to face with its brilliance,
I will move through my days grateful that it daily stares at me and warms my bones,
and for an eternity,
I will praise the One who placed it there.
