If asked to tell the picture,
I truly like this place.

there’s he and she
with no desire to race.

They’ve siblings of all colors
who lend or need a hand.
They give and take
and music make
in Brotherhood, the band.

Oh, and there’s a hammock
they take it everywhere.
Cities, mountains,
beaches, badlands
and with the weary, share.

On fortunate occasions,
they visit and have games,
share food and drink,
then do and think
and recognize their sames.

And of their differences
-what’s not to celebrate?
From those they’ll find
the lifelong kind
of lovers, friends and mates.
