How abundant life
What unexpected mountains
Where Eagles place trust
Else: A Haiku
I’ll collect the crumbs
I’ll reach out to the empty
I’ll touch the laughter
He Is
Big thoughts as the sky
Calm hand on my thigh
Unafraid to tell why
Looks into my eyes
Myself I’d deny
Takes me where he flies
Not you
Morning Cool
I heard thunder
Saw it
Had nowhere to go
Heated
I walked West and passed
Asian Lillies
Buildings with crumbling brick facades
Chain-link barriers rusted
Under which rabbits
Long since bored their way
Damned alleyways
Not a pen to be found to spell out the sound
So thunder spoke no more
I was cooled
Photographic: A Haiku
Ancient languages
He speaks to me in Sunrise
Queries me in Cloud
Prairie: A Haiku
Lines I never knew.
I loved. It was. I must have.
I longed for so long.
Fell
A single, solitary shoe in the road
Red
You are late
And I wait for its match
To fall
Dealings
Glory and all that is possible
Grasping
Heaven prolonged
Just an arm’s length away
Talk with me fierce as you will
Tho’ all the more fierce I will bid you
Thence stay
July 15, 2016: A Haiku
The theft of eyes’ light
The destruction of a smile
The breaking of Dawn
Reflecting
Rubies for they are exotic
To Me
To the One
Who will stop and capture galaxies Reflecting from my eyes
As with arms up
Resigned
That all that was ever needed
I have
