It is my story
I’ll go back and I’ll rewrite
As lie what was true
Nirvana
You’ll find his wild stare
As you’re lying there
Watching as you do
You’ll feel her easy smile
Linger for awhile
Bliss I promise you
The manifestation
Of all the love you’ve done
The blending of the two
The Things
That I might
Lift your chin
Draw you near
Throw out rules
Of grammar, etiquette
Specious rules that they are
Limited I am
To you
Limitless I’d be
With time
My, aren’t we
Mindful
Hear, See, Act
Gentle of course, and incredulous
I’d ask them
With my eyes
To consider
With their ears
Now
If, having heard
Do they see
Linen in my clutches
Lace dangling from my left
And as I drop it down
Do they move
To run and rescue and reclaim
What is ours

White Flag fly to me
Banner of my destiny
Checkered Flag be free
July 12, 2016: A Haiku
Though once a fable
She willed him come alive-O
They just needed once
The Breeze
Can one celebrate motion
and yet champion calm
Can one take
and yet still honor loveAnd yes, speaking of love
how does one take their tea
Black as eve’
or with honey, my love
July 11, 2016: A Haiku
What has kept me warm
The sheath wrapped ‘cross my shoulder
Your hidden footprints
Wordless
Roll into this town
Change Makers
Heart Chasers
Rumbling low
Prowling, growling for more than what’s on the table
Do it with that look
Wordless
July 10, 2016: A Haiku
Dare to see your feet
Marvel at their tender steps
Braving steepest hills
