The future I see
Blue-green against the silver
The gratitude years

The surface captured
The all that they seem to see
I behold your deep

For to find yourself
Untether and free yourself
Let go -be yourself

Oh -the open air!
Did you taste my tears trailing
to my happy heart?

How abundant life
What unexpected mountains
Where Eagles place trust

I’ll collect the crumbs
I’ll reach out to the empty
I’ll touch the laughter

Lines I never knew.
I loved. It was. I must have.
I longed for so long.

The theft of eyes’ light
The destruction of a smile
The breaking of Dawn

White Flag fly to me
Banner of my destiny
Checkered Flag be free

Though once a fable
She willed him come alive-O
They just needed once
