What has kept me warm
The sheath wrapped ‘cross my shoulder
Your hidden footprints

July 10, 2016: A Haiku

Dare to see your feet
Marvel at their tender steps
Braving steepest hills

Realization
Falls as truth from the floodgates
So then does the heart

Experiencing
the Earth apart, does impart
permission for tears.

Pathological
Hopelessly holding out hope
Can be wonderful

i love that you are
just infinitely messy
and magnificent

Leave the memory
To its happy resting place
Its well-deserved joy

The dark laboured not
The grand-finale in sight
And already dusk

West -too much, I feel.
Wherefore now the Eastern lands;
mystic ancient seas.

For I have spoken
Now remains a piece of you
Reserved for my lips
