will you be okay today?
What words will you say?

I trust that by now
Your hands have healed completely
And her gloves are off

Your door I’ll keep closed
And your peace will be my peace
Sister please hold him

First there was fever
Now comes the uncertainty
Next purified gold

I’ll not lose the dream
I learned there are two nices
I learned I’m naive

Oh demure firework,
glimmer that way; just be you
oh silver bullet.

I speak for mermaids
Who tend to the deep and still
Suffer the shallow

Up, up and away
On a mere wish and a pine
And all the years gone

Wake up! I need you.
I need you with me to walk;
To walk in the truth.

Since you must pomp then
Carnage with a strategy
Wield integrity

Today seems tangled
Truth is spun with x-ray eyes
Time is telling tales
