Keep me awake with word kisses
Talk to me, tell me wild tales
Sing of what gold a life this is
Let’s through one endless day, sail

This Haiku: Redefining You
Oh, “You.” I see it
-what it is and what it was
and always will be.
She Loves You. It’s true.
My best, Ms. Enlightenment
-you’re a lovely girl.

I am hoping
to hike up
to an Oak
and have it
have no fear
my glistening axe
will weaken it

That Light
On my next ocean trip
from my hand I’ll let slip
beauty too glorious to read.
Return treasure to sea,
it seems fitting to me
-cast That Light on more creatures in need.
I Winked
When I decided
Indulging fear is selfishness
Risk decided
To attempt a body blow
Poor thing
It never saw my roundhouse coming
All This
We have facets where we didn’t
They’re still smooth and how they glow
And our minds are far more cunning
We know when to run the show
These our words speak how life’s awesome
And often less with modern slang
Will you gently step forth knowing
On your years your virtues hang?
Last Breath
Tho’ last eve’s plea did not compel
Somehow with that I can be well.
But oh god, to deny my name?
My death from that be slow, slow pain.
This Haiku: What Works
Come here, I love you
Fortitude. Mildness. Light. Glee.
Strong of heart. Bright eyes.
This Haiku: Will You
What is telling me
There’s a hurting heart out there
If you need a friend
Stranger Love
In the dream that I had
Kindness spoke truth into me
Yet knew not my name
Strangers are we
In the dream that I’ll live
I’ll not fail to know my name
In gratitude to Kindness, I will always hold It’s heart
Though strangers are we
