Recall that Light mixed with it
Light of clear voice that leaves us with no doubt
Light that filters through the grey and sets us on a course and rocks the very souls
Light that does kiss back tears and keeps us in True North
Light that resonates a promise

(Scene)
No artificial light (hurts the eyes). God-ordained horizon softly illuminates.
(Sound)
Exotic (Midwestern) birds and the wind off the Lake.
(Script)
“All that that’s experienced in the moment, all that flows through my mind, my soul and sinew matters not Lord, if You’re not its Author.”
“So I ask You:
May every pose today be stronger and symbolic of Your power in me.
May my fingers against the mat massage the spine of Life.
May my deepest bends and breaths be in deference to Your authority over me.”
(Action!)
Backdraft
I see You and you
Please put it in my heart Lord.
Help me hold it near and dear.
The One and Only message
You’ve intended me to hear.
****
I see you out the window,
all that beauty I’ve deplored.
First depose me in the mirror
then convict me of the doors.
****
It’s glorious what’s out there,
all the hearts and souls like mine.
For those broken, battered, hardened,
through me share Your great Divine.
That Good Ink: A Haiku
Each Day Anew
I sought Your brilliance and You did reveal.
But with heart’s ears closed,
I walked in fear.
I’d swallowed death.
It was a sin against You.
You sought my brilliance each day anew and I now reveal.
That I do hear.
I stomp down fear.
I spit out death.
He redeemed me.

Open Eyes Grateful Spirit
You creatures scurrying about the green, soaring through the blue and reaching through the grey, I cherish you.
You sustain the creature holding this pen, elate each heartbeat and applaud a good path.
You Leader Creator, you humble peace-seeker and we creatures -we make a grand team.
