This Haiku: I’m Still In Love

He listens to me
As I shout, doubt, fear and err
He redeems my plans

This Haiku: Let’s Not Stay Here

Empty air to breathe.
There’s no light here. The Sun’s cold.
Strange planet indeed.

The lines in the sand
Was it others’ demands or
Your own and the noise

I’m weaving a band
That measures the strength of the
Love two gold hearts hold

It all flowed again
The asanas, the kindness
The sweat and the tears

Hand on your navel.
And the other on your chest.
Guts and heart. They’re there.

I will kiss the stripes
And all that they symbolize
Show your colors now

We must walk through fire.
Breathe deep, clutch our hearts, if we’re
to steal back our souls.

There’s your fingerprint
Fossilized upon my heart
For ten trillion years

My heart’s in my throat,
or else in my eyes, if it
is not on my sleeve.
