What deserves your faith?
Who daily offers their proof?
In that garden, sow.

Non-amused: A Haiku

I heard the laughter
And I too saw fit to smile
There’ll be no more years

Hey what I have here
Is too demure for you yet
Streams as a firework

Today’s driver’s seat
Who will you let take the wheel
What songs will you stream

Which of what comes next
Here on this glorious path
Ought I not embrace

Living from the heart
Be trust an esteemed virtue
Or all foolishness

Lean on me darling
I speak into the shadows
Before you emerge

I hope you waft of
stonefruit in the morningtime,
cinnamon at night.

She was twenty four
Everyday in my mind’s eye
I will flirt with her

Swallow the bitter
And know deeper gratitude
In small sweetnesses
