Leap! The greenest Frog
And steal me back from beyond
As I think of leaves

Citizen: A Haiku

If, as a traitor,
I meant to show I love us,
do you stand with me?

Tho’ my joints should ache
I’ll know that I cannot care
…there’s a row to hoe.

Impossibly hot
So I know I’ll find myself
There in India

the Ocean not there
take your salt and take your depth
leave me parched and dry

Grow my little love
Beyond and bigger than me
Your strength mine delight

Poetic I weave
I weave deep into my grand
My grand delusion

That picture, taken
Hangs in someone’s heart elsewhere
But I keep searching

The grand truths they tell
The sparkle when they see me
I want, need your eyes

Silver together
Fueled onward by true-blue love
And Big Bird yellow
